Romantic bedroom with iron bedframe, black and white chevron printed rug, blue stools and floor to ceiling 19th Century sparrow wallpaperPhoto courtesy Miles Redd

Although not my typical style, I really love this romantic bedroom. I think I like the canopy bed, the zig zag rug and the pops of blue here and there the most. Something soooo very wonderful about a iron canopy bed. Love the fact that all of the necessary style elements were perfectly worked into what seems to be a very tiny space!

So with all that's today's DESIGNER ROOM RECREATE...with everything you would need to create this look in your own home!

P.S. Huge thank you to Cococozy intern Spardha T. for all of the wonderful research for this post! A fab job on her first assigment. Thanks Spardha!

  1. It's a lovely room and the canopy bed frames are just gorgeous. Love the chevron rugs too. The bedding looks so fresh and comfortable. Great inspiration. Hugs, Marty

  2. Great ideas here. I love the comforter set and the blue tables and lamps. I think it might add some romance to swag a light fabric over the canopy that picks up the blue somewhere in the design and carries it upward

  3. Hi. Do you know who makes the wallpaper in the photo?

  4. Spardha T did a great research job...such a pretty room!

  5. Great post, lovely room. I think that you just overlooked the fabulous wallpaper. De gournay?

  6. Such a beautiful room! It's so grown-up and whimsical at the same time.

  7. Love the simplicity of the iron bed from Anthropologie.

  8. That madiera rug needs to come home with me. Now.

  9. The coloring on the first lamp is stunning!
