SEE THIS HOUSE: SWEET ON A SWEDISH FLAT!

Love this lovely flat for sale in Sweden...shown on Alvehm Makleri & Interior. It is fresh, airy and cheerful. The devil is in the architectural detail here with the herringbone wood floor, carved crown molding, the decorative ceiling medallions, tall paneled doors and more. Love it! (Going to see how many times I can say the word "love" or a variation there of in one post...). Take a look...

What do you think of this city apartment?

How are you doing on your Thanksgiving plans by the way?

Happy Tuesday COCOCOZY readers! Hope you have a good one!

You hit the nail on the head - it's the architectural details that makes it - these furnishings in a less distinguished space would look lost but here it's a wonderful contrast!

The bookshelves and "office space" in the 5th photo are too simple for my taste. To me, they are like mere skeletal figures trying to look beautiful in a wedding dress. If the shelves had the door such as the set across the room and the desk set was a little less "garage sale" find looking, it would work better.

I love the windows, the floors and the white walls. I put dark wood floors in my living/dining rooms and am wishing I'd chosen light ones like these instead.

The floors are gorgeous - it's all about the light in this apartment. I would give anything to live with that much light.

I'm not saying their decor isn't nice, but it hardly matters what you put into that space as the architecture is so amazingly beautiful!

I recently discovered that I'm a huge fan of herringbone floors. Huge! Love the giant windows as well... that much light in one space is something to envy!

The furniture choices don't knock my socks off but the place looks comfortable and homey. I would've added some color... with that much light, strong color is totally doable. :-)

What a perfect white color. Sometimes all white rooms irk me, but these rooms are just lovely. All the light and brightness makes me want to be there!
