COCOCOZY AUDIO POST!

My first audio post experiment! Oh boy. Take a listen! Nothing ground breaking here at all...but hopefully I'll get the editing down to actually make these interesting to you.

This one is an audio post and it is just me saying hi to you for the first time. I was so clueless about editing that I just put up a bunch of pictures you have probably seen. I wanted to change them out but then I got scared that I would lose all of the audio. Oy va voy.

If you have patience with me and these audio posts...I plan to make them far more exciting and interesting (I hope). In the future I will be sharing gorgeous images and giving you my thoughts on design, style, fashion and much more (including a little more about me!). I'll answer any questions you all email me or if you have a design dilemma send me a photo and I'll talk about it and show it to everyone on my YouTube channel.

My voice sounds really weird and scratchy and I sound very serious in this one. Trust me I am not a serious weird voice girl...I just play one on my YouTube channel...LOL! I will admit though to the scratchy voice part...people have said I have a "raspy" voice (a guy I used to work with called me "Raspy" for an entire year).

You might ask (wisely) "Coco, why would you put up an audio post with old pictures and you sounding serious, weird and raspy"? My response would be, "It took me almost 2 hours to figure out how to even record a 2 minute interlude and then add in some basic photos...truthfully, I didn't have the energy to do it all again" (= lazy). So much for the motto of "putting your best foot forward"...I just put my best weird raspy serious voice and old photos foot forward! Yoohoo! That's the way I roll.

Happy Saturday!

P.S. Look forward to hearing from you!

  5. I have been working on video and I was terrified to try something new. I am so glad to see you are embarking on this adventure. I loved meeting you in Atlanta and it feels like you are standing next to me talking...I love that! Keep going and congrats on this next step in the Cococozy empire.

  6. Hi Coco ~ You sound great! My friends actually love my voice when I'm a little 'scratchy' and I've even heard some 1-900 comments from guy friends, so lets just say your normal weird scratchy raspy voice is a nice break from all the phony, perky, squeeky, fake, up-speak voices that are normally spread around....as for content, all good, even if we've seen it before but we would all love to see your FACE girl!!!! Great Idea for the audio...keep them both coming!

  10. I think it's great that you are venturing out to audio. It seems most of us aren't use to the way our voices sound when recorded, so I say good for you for stepping out! I so enjoyed meeting you when you were in Atlanta. You are just as delightful in person as you are on your blog post. Thank you for sharing yourself with all of us!

  13. HI Coco!

I love your blog, your posts, your tastes, and the audio thingy was really cool! Plus, I love LA!!!!! I live in New Mexico and have a little 1/2 acre ranch house complete with barn and horses that I'm trying to fix up to be my girl pad. I am also a suit, so you are close to my heart with your executive job and your love of design. I have to throw in my love of animals since I have 2 horses, 1 pot belly pig, 4 bunnies, 2 guinea pigs and 4 lovebirds and a cat.... I hope I'm not leaving anyone out.... Plus, I want a totally groovy home. Thanks for the inspiration. It's hard to remodel an old house on limited funds, but it CAN be done. Time and patience is key. I love your vision. Thanks for your blog! Sincerely, Veronika
