Stainless steel kitchen aren't for everyone...but if you are looking for a sleek modern glistening place to do your cooking, then stainless could be just the answer.
In my imaginary 6th home (an apartment in some fabulous city somewhere) I might try a completely stainless look...I might. I have other ideas of the kitchens in imaginary homes 1-5. I may though throw caution to the wind and do this all metallic look in house number 6. In my real home, I have white glass front cabinets. Note to self: need to get started on imaginary homes so that I can get to number 6 and try a stainless look.
Let's take a look at a few stainless kitchens in today's THIS OR THAT...which one do you prefer?

Which of these metal kitchens do you like the best? I think I'm liking Kitchen 1 and Kitchen 2 the best. I like the reeded glass in the upper cabinets of Kitchen 1. For some reason, Kitchen 2 doesn't seem to overwhelmingly metallic so I like that one too.
Please vote in the comments section below. I would love to hear which of these modern metal kitchens you like best.
Happy Monday!

Oh boy, all I see is little hand prints everywhere if this was in my home!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful look, but can only imagine how much work it would require to keep them looking so!
ReplyDeleteI posted on metal cabinets last week, love that it's becoming a more popular look. I really like the 3rd and 4th kitchens!! Thanks for sharing!

Love love LOVE the look of this. But def for someone else...not for me. A bit too mod for my own home and I think the finger prints would drive me bat sh*t crazy. I only wish I could be so neat.
ReplyDeleteBy far I prefer the 5th kitchen, even though it's small. It seems so warm and cozy with the fireplace, despite the omnipresence of stainless steel. I like it a lot!
ReplyDeleteOMG - Fab! But I already see what the "after" pic would be once my boys had walked through the kitchen ;-)
ReplyDeleteLovely though!
Oh i would definitely do some steel cabinets in my kitchen- (if it looked somewhat like those photograph :) ) Looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteNope. Too industrial/laboratory-like for me. I prefer kitchens with some warmth to them.
ReplyDeleteI love Kitchen 5 -- it seems like fingerprints would be okay in that casual, cool setting.
ReplyDeleteI'm actually not a huge fan of full-on stainless steel in the ktichen...looks too industrial. I like my kitchen to be warm, though not country. I read that stainless steel is actually going out of style & that colored steel appliances are coming in. Interesting right?!

Think about all that cleaning you have to do though!!
ReplyDeleteIm definitely going with kitchen #5. Its infused with texture which gives it life and warmth. Just needs a great patterned rug under the table and it will be perfect! The others are a bit too impractical for me.
ReplyDelete#4 is absolute pure perfection! I'm in love!!!!!
ReplyDeletekitchen 4 and 5 are the best because they have warmth. you need to add warmth with too much stainless. kitchen 5 with the fireplace is dreamy! :-)
ReplyDeleteI prefer stainless with warmer materials like wood.
ReplyDeleteI'd never be able to keep stainless steel bases clean (dishwasher is never clean) but I like the idea of stainless and glass uppers with wood bases.
Cheers,
