After seeing the darling eat in kitchen that I showed you in yesterday's post, I've had breakfast nooks on my mind. Now...most normal people have regular life things on their, friends, love, work, religion, politics, helping others...I've thought about those normal things certainly...but for an entire day or so I have truly been thinking a lot about breakfast nooks. I know...weird...I know...weird. Welcome to my world. yesterday's post, the home owner chose a round table and adorable cafe chairs to make a stunning breakfast nook space off of her kitchen. After I saw that nook, I wanted to scoop it right up and take it home...there is a problem...I do live in a tiny tiny tiny cottage in the Hollywood Hills so I have no space for a proper eat in kitchen dining area...but that nook got me thinking...could I do the same type of nook with built-in bench seating?

Well, if you are doing your kitchen or trying to figure out how to squeeze a table and chairs into a small cove or are some ideas on banquette seating!

  1. Love love the first one, so bright and fresh!

  2. I love the same 2 that you mentioned. I am wanting a banquette in my kitchen as well. Thanks for the inspiration

  3. I am always dreaming to have my own built in banquette seats. Your design is awesome!

  4. The first one is so lovely with all of the divine windows and I love the elegance of it all!

  5. I love that first image - there is something so amazing about banquette seating in a corner window. I love the bright airy feel of it!

  6. I just love bench seats. There is something about sitting across from somebody and looking them in the eye. I have always found bench seating so cozy. You have taken a minus and turned it into a plus! The bench seating works great in a small space and creates a great feel, both when you walk into the room and when you leave. Well done and with the white it’s over the top!

  7. Love the first two. Especially the table in the second one. I am building one of these in my house and am looking for a table like this one. Any idea where its from?

  8. I love the table in the second picture. This would be perfect for our future kitchen nook. Do you know where I can find it? Thanks!

  9. Where can you buy this kind of seating? Does it have to be custom made only?
