WEEKEND PHOTO!

Well the holiday season is definitely in full swing. I trimmed my Christmas tree last weekend - a Douglas Fir...nice and plump...with white lights...silver, mirrored, sparkled and mercury glass ornaments...it shimmers at night. It is small but works.

Have a little obsession with mercury glass looking things lately...including this glass tree I picked up the other day.

This little holiday tree sits in my kitchen window or on my dining room table. I like its metallic shine. Oddly shaped kind of but still does the trick of adding a little touch of holiday spirit.

What holiday touches are you adding into your home? What do you think of this little glass tree...cute or weird looking? Hmmm...do tell!

Happy Saturday! Happy weekend!

  3. I've been loving mercury glass lately, too! Small world...mainly pieces from Pottery Barn I've seen, like thick candle holders. I have that Christmas tree, too! It's on our mantle, haha.

  5. I have a crush on all things mercury glass too! I recently bought a mercury glass Christmas tree to add to the mercury glass pillar candle holders that sit on my holiday table. We lit the candles tonight for dinner...the light danced everywhere! It was beautiful & very festive!! Happy Holidays!

  8. This is gorgeous! I didn't want to spend too much on Christmas decorations this year so I used a brass tree and filled it with pretty statues, strings of pearls and gold and white votives. xx
