Hi nice readers...just a bit more about me...

I love design and decor...everything about it. Like most of you, I adore the idea of making a home the best it can be...not the most expensive, or the most objectively beautiful, or the most chic...just a home that is cozy, functional and most importantly makes style sense for the individuals who live there. I am not a design snob (although I do like nice things...sometimes very nice things) but I do love the idea of pulling a space together...worrying about both the details and the big picture...making a room complete.

My style is a mix...fresh feeling space...lots of different textures...dark rich brown, white, green and a pop of turquoise blue is my favorite color combination...modern and traditional furnishings and accesories combined.  There is definitely a COCOCOZY style...but it is a living breathing style that is open to new ideas and new concepts...always!

So as you know, this is my decor and interior design magazine and blog.  And now, I have a shop filled with fab pillows, throws, bedding and drapery.  This collection is all made in the U.S. and designed by me!

I go by my nickname, Coco (my grandmother called me Coco from day one), only because in real life I actually have a job that I love too (I am what you might call a "suit" or an executive). I lead a double life of sorts - by day, an executive (who sometimes wears sparkling headbands to work for no reason), and by night, an interior design junkie.

I grew up in Los Angeles (born and raised). For college, I went to the northeast and studied at a not so shabby liberal arts college (my parents who are education snobs made me go there btw...I wanted to go to a big school like UCLA...but no...the parents prevailed), then ended up on the east coast again for law school (yes, I am a licensed attorney too but I do not practice). I lived in New York as well...miss it there. I've been back in L.A. for sometime now...decided to stay after I bought my little cottage in the Hollywood Hills - an oooohhhh so small but cute little tiny housette nestled in the hills...hence the cozy part of COCOCOZY.

I am not a professional interior decorator or design expert - just someone who likes anything to do with house and home. Hopefully, I can help my family, friends and some strangers find cool things, give them some inspiration and maybe make them laugh a little too!

I so appreciate all of you who read the inspire me....and hope you enjoy the new COCOCOZY shop too!
